I am a Research Associate and a PhD Candidate of Computer Science at the Technical University of Berlin (TUB), working with Prof. Volker Markl at the Database Systems and Information Management (DIMA) group. I work closely with Prof. Zoi Kaoudi and Prof. Jorge Quiane.

This paragraph is dedicated to Jorge Quiane. Unfortunately, Jorge passed away very unexpectedly in May 2023, leaving us all stunned and thunderstruck. Jorge was my pillar, my mentor, and deep down, my friend. Long story short, Jorge helped me and believed in me; I will always be grateful to him and remember him. Jorge is not with us any more, but his legacy is forever. "Somos chingones".

I received my Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Computer Science from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in 2018, where I worked on worst-case optimal stream join algorithms with Prof. Ke Yi, who has a beautiful mind.

In September 2015, I received my 5-year Diploma M. Eng. Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), where I worked my diploma thesis under the under the guidance of Kostas Patroumpas, who I rather consider as a "(scientific) father" than an advisor.
